1977 was the best year (and not just cause it's the one during which I was born) and The Clash is the best band, so despite several others of these being v v good, I have to say complete control.

Fuck there really are tons of great songs on here.

Voted "I Feel Love" mostly so I didn't have to choose between Clash songs.

Yeah, I was weighing Bob Marley vs. the Sex Pistols there, but with Fleetwood Mac, it's not even a contest.

Voted Complete Control before I got bogged down in overthinking it. I might make a Spotify playlist of this.

Ditto on Tavares's "More Than a Woman." The Bee Gees' version is fine--it's them in the movie when the camera whirls in circles, right?--but Tavares make it even better.

Yay, after a look at the list and a gut-check, I went with "Marquee Moon". But really comparing some of these is like the unstoppable force meets the immovable object.
