Busta Rhymes verses in "Scenario" - Classic or Dud?

The whole song overall is classic, when Busta comes in takes over the song. Never heard Leaders of the New School so I never heard him before this song.

Classic, if only for "Chocolately choco, the chocolate chicken."

you should check out Leader's album "T.I.M.E. (The Inner Mind's Eye)"

super fun hip hop from 93, but at the same time super abstract. the whole thing's amazing, but "What's Next?" and "Spontaneous" are classics.

And have you smellin' rank, like some old stale urine

I think Charlie Brown's part in that song is underrated.

Phife takes the cake though:

"Runnin mad games like your name was Scott Skiles"

Marginal, miniscule white ballers need love too, you know! Busta should have name checked Jack Ramsey, although he gets his due in Aerosmith's "Love In An Elevator" video.

Yancey: Right album, wrong song. Then again, I forget which song the line's actually from. "The Infamous Date Rape", probably.

Note that the Beastie Boys reversed that equation with the John Starks shout-out on "Get It Together".

Nate Patrin, Thursday, 17 October 2002 20:17 (twenty-three years ago)

Jesus... you're right. I completely blanked. It is "Date Rape," I think. "Scenario" has "Bo don't know shit 'cause Bo can't rap..."

SORRY!

mm just heard the remix today for the first time in a long time and while the orig. is undeniable, that rmx (which has a different but great beat and most of the same MCs turning in great different verses) is very close to it.
