dreams and nightmares about clothes

a while back i had a dream where i was at a posh do and i looked down and i was wearing mid-coloured boot cut jeans frayed at the back hem with those flat ninja-style trainers with the zigzag elastic closure that were a thing about 8 years ago but which *some people* still wear. i'm quite haunted by it.

i'm sure many of us have had the dream where we are out with NO CLOTHES ON OUR BOTTOM HALF... or is that just me?

Periodically in my dreams I end up in an outfit that's a large coral-colored sweatshirt, a pre-tied black bowtie, white underwear, black converse hi-tops, and no pants.

pre tied? how vulgar.

I have a lot of clothes and shoes dreams/nightmares

some about clothes and shoes falling apart or disintegrating or being lost or just not fitting. some about totally weird clothes that are like tents or spaceships etc.

I get a lot of stuff tied to school-related anxieties via the uniform. I had to wear one or another in grades 4-10 and 12, and the transition from a school that finally let me wear my hair long and pick my own clothes to one that rigidly enforced a dress code (tan slacks, blue dress shirt, cut your hair son you look like a queer, etc) was...kinda shitty.

I get dreams about having a beard or very long hair, but never clothes.
