I hate Chris Knox

I'm not opposed to him in theory, you understand. As a musician having to have lyric sheets for your own songs is pretty amusing, and he seems to be a pretty cool bloke. But when you use your multiple positions as a comic artist to go on and on relentlessly about the same hidiously boring topic (let say the war on Iraq, for instance), not only is it pretty irritating being preached to by a burnt out musician who is obviously qualified to speak on the topic, but it is also completely unfunny, which kind of defeats the purpose of the cartoon.

I liked that last Tall Dwarfs album, but live he seems like a totally different story. There's a difference between not wanting to be professional and just flat-out not being able to play your own songs.

His "observational" strips are awful. I loved 'The Real Pits' but he stopped doing that, replacing it w/the shitty 'But Wait, there's More'. Oh, it was sad!
