God damn he just looks so fucking smug all the time. Everything he does seems to be calculated to get on tv. Like the way he hugs and kisses all the other competitors and gives them so much 'moral support'. And I hate hate HATE the way he mouths "thank you" like a fucking twat every time Paula Abdul gives him yet another sycophantic arse licking.

I hate how everyone seems to think he is such a nice guy and so down to earth when he is clearly the most arrogant piece of crap to take the stage. Why do people assume that if someone is not classically handsome they are automatically a "nice guy"? HE'S A FUCKING WANKER.

The great thing about these shows is watching the initial tryouts before they start selecting the "best" singers. I remember on the Irish Popstars show there was this girl singing Wind Beneath My Wings at the audition in a really thick Irish accent, so it was like "You're everyting, everyting oi wish oi could be." Then you get contestants saying things like "you folks at home don't know how hard it is" - oh, don't be so facking precious.
