Yup! It was just on Space. Black and white and them playing through (I think) a broken window. Filmed pretty nicely, obv not too flash or anything. I didn't watch it too closely but I don't think Michael was in it that much, poor guy.

I didn't hear the song, I was listening to records w/the TV on mute. But yeah they were doing their whole thing, the guitarist grabbed the mic a bit too so it's prob that one where um he DOES THAT, y'know? There's only a couple of them. This is reminding me of how annoying junkie boy was that night, actually.

oh yeah i saw that - i wish they would just play videos on that show it was cringey having the whatnow-for-fourthformers style presenters introduce it with "this band is going to be big next year" (wow trend setters/spotters) and after it "I like the mint chicks cuz I like fugazi" (wow you must be an expert)- anyway nice video and song

four years pass...

The Mint Chicks were my favorite young band I discovered last year. Spaz rock? Melodic hardcore? Their last album was a quantum leap in songwriting ability and appropriate production. The fuzzed out guitar just slays me - and they're on Flying Nun! Just moved to Portland, OR so hopefully I'll get to see them play.
