I quite enjoy being irritated/annnoyed.

i wouldn't say being in a bad mood is enjoyable, but its becoming on some people. i think i am one of those people.

i can imagine, tlml, that you would be cute when in a bad mood. i quite enjoy sunday night sadness - last night i listened to the clean and felt happily sad. since giving up coffee i have been way less irritable/annoyed and more nice sad instead. it suits the autumn weather here.

I often go out of my way to get annoyed. Here is an example - I got that book "Our Band Could Be Your Life" out from the library and the first thing I read was the chapter on Beat Happening (the last chapter), because I find BH incredibly annoying and I wanted to be annoyed. I think it ended up being one of the only chapters I even got around to reading. It really did get on my nerves too!

Wasn't that great a book. I also like complaining heaps. Losing my temper can be pretty satisfying I guess. Not always though.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 29 September 2003 08:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Elisabeth mostly covers my feelings on this, I too like to be irritated. Really, that Beat Happening chapter left me w/such a desire to throw stuff at Calvin Johnson, he's kinda like Morrissey in that I don't quite see how his audience doesn't realise how much he's playing to/using them. In fact the very thought is annoying me, cool.

oh yes i have just realised that is what morrissey was up to. he's fat now; my friend saw him buying shoes in portugal with a very faggy looking bloke on his arm.

i enjoy the odd irritated exegesis - i mean there's little better intellectually wise than being fucked off and trying to work out why exactly you're fucked off/annoyed.

can i nail something terrible to the cyber wall here and say, if leader topped himself i would miss his poor grammar and adah ocd responses.

No wait Morrissey's LONELY and SAD ALL THE TIME, isn't he? "William It Was Really Nothing" is about Billy McKenzie from the Associates, fact fans

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 29 September 2003 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

hmm

jonathan gittins (nevermind^), Monday, 29 September 2003 15:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Poor Morrissey. I will always love him for what he once was. I love The Smiths, and I love Morrissey...always will.

I didn't know Japan was so big on indiekids... also you'd do S-K, right? Don't judge them too harshly!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 3 October 2003 02:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Clare (not entirely unhappy), Monday, 6 October 2003 02:51 (twenty-two years ago)

one month passes...
its not that i like being pissed off, its that i need it sometimes. i guess it feels kinda luxurious, because anger is something we are supposed to hide from other people. i'm useless at controlling my anger when i drink, and i direct it inwards as much as outwards. i'm gonna regret posting this.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 13 November 2003 10:52 (twenty-two years ago)

hmm.
