could you please tape the intellectual property show on c4 tonight? die! die! die! are being interviewed, + they'll play footage from the kings arms (which, apparently, could not escape my dancing head).

Chan, Lai Ching Crystal - 24 hour city : nightlife in Auckland?
Rudd, Tracy Jean - In despair of subculture : an analysis of Auckland City's gothic subculture )

etc, Tuesday, 16 December 2003 04:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 05:35 (twenty-two years ago)

ha! when are those thesi frm?

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 05:38 (twenty-two years ago)

auckland was mentioned in this book I read abt junkydom, by an American (How to stop time, an A-Z of Heroin by Ann Marlowe). As a place where some of her NYC junkie friends had moved in order to quit by drug unavailability. It had some snide remarks, I should look it up though or I'll get it too wrong. Something abt the ignorant insularity of the cool people/music scene there.

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 05:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Any mention of all the smack?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 05:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Maybe the Ak junkies were too insular to share, tho

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 05:44 (twenty-two years ago)

All taped, and it was pretty good! Short though, but whaddaya expect.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 10:17 (twenty-two years ago)

oh man, Andrew really needs to stop the nervous bandy-leg-dance thing, he looked like he needed to pee.

Gee that Camilla's a cutie. Wonder where she gets her supply of helium.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 17 December 2003 11:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Sadly I don't think I'll be visiting any time soon!

Livvie (Livvie), Wednesday, 17 December 2003 12:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Haha it took me so long to work out the person being accused of bandy-legged dancing wasn't Andrew Thames.

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 18 December 2003 22:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Ah I dance like that too anyway

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 19 December 2003 04:34 (twenty-two years ago)
