The last film I watched was The Seventh Seal, and I rather liked it. At least it didn't leave me with a feeling of "oh no, this supposed arthouse classic is actually shite". And I finally figured out that that episode of The Young Ones which starts off with that guy playing chess with Death, who then says: "Checkmate? Bollocks to this!" had a reference to this movie. I was a bit slow on the uptake.

FREDDY VS JASON. A bummer only in that it wasn't very clear who won, tho out of two guys neither of whom can ever really die that isn't too surprising I guess.

Freddy vs Jason as well! I guess they had to leave the ending vague so there could be another movie. Otherwise it was real good, especially at the actual movies. They'd like bring new characters just to get killed! They also have a rave in the middle of a corn field.

If you count movies on tv, the last one I saw was Planet of the Apes. Never seen it before, it was choice! Tho it suffers from a lack of musical numbers along the lines of "I hate every ape I see, from chimpan-A to chimpanzee"

'Can I play the piano anymore?' 'Of course you can' 'Well I couldn't before!'

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 30 December 2003 13:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Dr. Zaius, Dr. Zaius! Dr. Zaius, Dr. Zaius! Ohhhhhhhh, Dr Zaius!
(Dr. Zaius Dr. Zaius)
"Oh, help me Dr. Zaius"
"I think you're crazy!"
"I want a second opinion"
"You're also lazy"
"Can I play the piano, any-more?"
"Of course you can"
"Well I couldn't before!"
etc.

Best musical ever!

The synth piano bit is genius.

"He can talk!" I like the breakdancing apes most of all.

Schwingung (Damian), Tuesday, 30 December 2003 23:00 (twenty-two years ago)

"I can SIIIIINNNGG"

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 31 December 2003 00:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Dr Zaius's expressions are so amazing, he just moves his eyes SLIGHTLY when the nurse ape runs to hold him and goes "Oooh, help me Dr Zaius!"

i saw "dazed and confused" this morning, it was funny and enjoyable. like a better version of that '70s show.

i once got told i was like a character out of that film. i think it was cos i was the only person in my hall of residence that smoked pot.

"The Two Towers", last night. The Ents are quite incredibly cool. The movies' version of Gollum is pretty much the one I had in my head when I read the books (characterwise, not so much appearance)
