yeah! I haven't bought any music in ages so I can't really participate &c. you should check out
this thread - maybe the homosexuals related stuff won't get too expensive.
wgtn-related : do slow boat records let you listen to their rare/expensive stuff?

I think I we (me + H, we live in a 'hood called Newtown) are having a garage sale that weekend. I'm going to listen to the Russian Futurists during that, kind of in lieu of a party (leaving for good the week after that).
I don't really go into Slow Boat cause I can't afford records but Lynton slags them off for being very uptight about their vinyl. I think you can listen - yeah ther's a listening deck - but they won't let you open sealed ones. My friend Karren just got a job there working on Sundays though and she is great so go there on a Sunday!. I'll try to think of some stuff that's on and some hospitality maneuvers. I'll email you in the next few days.

spectra - where are you leaving for? garage sales sound fun, & I've been meaning to listen to the RFs. I've got a couple of mp3s at home I haven't had a chance to listen to yet - any recommendations.
Is sealed vinyl rare stuff, or new stuff?

Was that "The Legendary Story of Sun Records"? Cos I got that out of the library a few times and hell yeah it's good.
