How can I use my trusted friends to get back into my account?

Hi,what happened was that my wife was always logged in on her samsung galaxy s3 but not on the laptop. Four days ago she had to have a replacement galaxy s3 from her mobile operator as the phone was going faulty i reset everything to factory settings and gave it back to them with out stupidly noting down the password for facebook so i would say at least four days ago.thank you.

Are you sure it was an S3? I understand that the newer S4 model is optimised for social media sites such as Facebook? It may be that your best option here is to get an S4 and try to log in again with that?

Not sure where to put this, but has anyone been experiencing this issue where Post Options keeps popping up randomly on FB? (You know, the Save Post, Hide Post, etc. options under the "..." icon). I honestly cannot figure out what's causing it. Maybe my keyboard is messed up? I'm not having any similar issues on any other sites.
