Any possible problems/side-effects with mixing these pickup types?

HB-30's are cool, but rewiring hollowbodys is a total pain in the ass. You have to pull the wires out of either a pickup hole or a f-hole to do the wiring, generally, and even worse, you have to be able to pull all the pots/switches/etc. back into place afterwards. I'll try to do some research on the wiring harness on that guitar and let you know exactly how pain in the ass it will be...

thanks john. don't trouble yourself too much as i'm a novice with electronics/wiring and should probably just leave things be rather than chance fucking it up royally

All I really need to do is figure out whether the pickups connect durectly to the switch or not. If so, banzai!

No trouble at all, really. This is what I do all day anyway...

two months pass...
Theoretically, the higher impedence of the bridge pickup VS neck pickup might make the bridge weaker than expected in the mixed position VS each solo.
