Is there any interesting guitar stuff happening, or is it mostly synths? I'm really stoked for the Korg Ody - if they implement that three filter switch it'll be a lot more versatile.

the organisers have said the floorspace share for synth stuff is up 100% or something. that's huge!

Lots of guitar stuff happening. For example this completely unexpected collaboration, which might indicate a pretty interesting direction for DOD in the future:

yeah, so as the leaks fall into place, this is completely insane this year. 85 new products from Washburn. A bunch of ultra secret stuff from Marshall. 6 new Catalinbread somethings. The Caroline Wave Cannon 2. plus tons more.

Prophet SEX.

Best thing about soft synths is that has moved the whole rompler type synths to the side and put companies back into analog to have something to sell. There have been some really cool analog synths made in the last ten years or so.

Holy crap, they are reissuing the ARP Odyssey too?

I've heard some of the Dave Smith stuff and it all sounds good, but I really hope this is good too.
