Why is it that, whenever one fails to pay attention for five minutes, something always happens? Or, if you take your eye off the ball ( and apologies if this sounds even vaguely sport related) the ball then smacks you in the face?

Is it unreasonable to hope for the status quo to be maintained?
I have been absent for seconds, I think, and not only Sean, but now Eric, are rearing their tedious heads. There is a children's book in England, Eric, called Flat Eric. Both a description and a wish.

I will now go on holiday ( smug ) and hope that I can rely on one or two verbal buzzsaws ( and you know who you are) to deal with this.
