Barring any major holdups.

three months pass...

Which, as it turned out, there have been.

What kept you?

I was innocently walking down the street when a man wearing a beret and a bad goatee pulled me into an alley and begged me to take the leading role in his Independent Film remake of Abbott and Costello meet the Mummy.

He swore that I was the perfect height for the mummy costume and the REAL actor walked off.... quit the film..... I accepted.

I need to go back and watch the original movie again because I don't remember the "Mummy robs a bank" scene.

They went all out on the special effects because those guns sounded exactly like a real gun and the Police cars and uniforms looked PERFECT!

Weird thing, I never saw a single camera anywhere. They must have been using those long telephoto lenses or something?

That and they paid me in cash out of the bag of money from the bank. After I got home and thought about it..... I bet that money is some of that FAKE movie money.

I might go down to the corner bar where it is real dark and try spending some of it there to see what happens......

A reasonable, and plausible excuse.

For myself I have been locked in a research project. As to which kind of research project I remain unsure. Just general research. I did get to carry a clipboard, thus fulfilling a life-long dream. In my spare time I have been weeping over others wedding photos, and redrafting my script for an exciting adaptation of Prometheus unbound, to be shown shortly in the Starlight Lounge of the Quality Hotel, Skelmersdale.

I say we celebrate your recent success with clipboard carrying.

I'm thinking we start with a dark brew followed by something single malt then your choice.....

Since Aimless isn't here how about we run it on his tab?

He's still drinking Tab?!

How else would he keep his girlish figure?

In the box it came in, like normal people.

I figure (no pun intended) he is like most kids and would rather play in the box than withthe contents of said box.

I used to play with what I found in my boxers, but then I lost all respect for it.

Such a touching tale.
