Well, that's her menstrual cycle, you know, 28 cups.

My BF kept a spread sheet of my cycle, mainly to to track my enormous mood swings. I was furious when I found out, but now think its quite sweet of him. It helps me work out if I'm being mental because of my hormones, or just being mental.

here's hoping you swing back to furious.

I was really annoyed that he'd not consulted me, but on reflection I'm glad he did it. We now talk very openly about my cycle. I did really suffer from awful pmt and this helped with managing my emotions, and being more self aware.

I'm confused. About several things.

1. Why was this poll created?
2. How does the photo relate, or am I looking too hard for anything beyond the "cycle" non-joke?
3. 28 cups?

1. iltmi needed more polls
2. you are looking too hard
3. quote from slacker

we talk about it though we've been together nearly 20 years there's not really much to talk about on this front I get my ass into the kitchen and start making cookies and increase my massage duties. it is weird to me if there are long-term relationships in which something that affects your partner's mood and well-being isn't a thing you discuss.

cosign that a picture of a person on a bicycle is almost criminally bad here

not that i ever, ever want anything to happen to your relationship, because its existence is a source of comfort to me in an ugly world. but you know, if it does

where is the "my girlfriend mentions it sometimes and I go 'whoaaa thanks for sharing, too much information'" option that everyone I've ever gone out with would have ticked (if they were honest) (so they probably wouldn't have)

cosign on the furious

also (total thread derail), when Alexei Sayle was mentioned on some recent comedy thread I thought "why do I not really like that guy, he seems ok" and this thread has reminded me of why: the sketch on his 90s tv show of some stereotypical fat butch lesbian vegan treehugging feminists running a bike shop called, oh really, "Menstrual Cycles". I mean this stuff is gold, right?

Not even that tbh, i just hate him

One girl, 28 cups

I dunno, aero swings in and tries to swagger all over thread but imo if there is capacity to increase massage activity you're already slacking

just to be clear, this wasn't where I was trying to go with my stupid joke jpg at the top of the poll. I have tons of respect for women cyclists.

anyway, my wife recently gave me her old phone (she has always been much more high tech than me) and I have now joined her in using her Period Tracker app. We had always both talked about her periods on a limited, as-needed, basis, but now the conversation has really opened up in the house. it's been very exciting!

oh no, it's ok, how's life! I didn't think you were going there or mind the picture, it just reminded me of something I'd forgotten about.

I dunno if I'd like mine to be tracked but it would be an entertaining novelty to be able to say "stuff hurts, guess it's soon" or "I hope it ends before we go on holiday" and not just get a look of "what could I possibly do with this information, which by the way is disgusting and so are you for doing this thing"
