face outward, then use the detachable shower head to wash my front. I feel like this choice owes a lot to the current size and alignment of my shower though and may differ in other showering situations.

I tend to wet myself down with the shower attachment on its hose away from its holder. Then put it back on its holder, wash my hair and ears with it attached to the wall with the holder. Then take it off the hook again once I've lathered myself down and then have the attachment free on its hose while I concentrate on individual bits of myself.
But I'm a lot more used to having a shower that is a detachable hose than having it at a fixed point above me. I'd assume that I would still be turning around under a fixed point one though.

which is to say I start facing the holder but then detach the hose and rose, then turn with my back to it when I reattach it while doing my hair. Then turn back around facing it. probably be sideways to it while I do my feet since it put one on the side of the bath.
But I've normally been taking a shower in a bath with shower fitting rather than a shower booth which might make things different but I doubt it, would still be turning around under it.

I'm very much from the Groundskeeper Willie school of Brillopad-and-Ajax ablutions - I favour a nice stiff brush in the shower to scour off the grime. I popped in to The Body Shop recently for a replacement. I asked the nice lady to point me towards what they had, whereupon she launched into the various options - "Oh we've got lots! It really depends how rough you want. I mean do you like it, do you like it ..." and she just sort of tailed off.

I tried hard not to finish her question for her, really I did.

5 ilxors with stinky butts.

take this to mean kkvgz expects running water to do all the work necessary, doesn't use any soap or physical application to his rear, and thus has the stinkiest butt of all, qed
