I dreamt that I fell asleep under a cypress tree,
  and dreamt that I fell asleep under a poplar tree,
    and dreamt that I fell asleep under a maple tree,
      and dreamt that I fell asleep under a cedar tree,
        and dreamt that I fell asleep under a willow tree
          and dreamt that I fell asleep under a chestnut tree
          ...but a chestnut bough came crashing down, waking me.
        ...but a willow bough came crashing down, waking me.
      ...but a cedar bough came crashing down, waking me.
    ...but a maple bough came crashing down, waking me.
  ...but a poplar bough came crashing down, waking me.
...but a cypress bough came crashing down, waking me.
