s1utsky (slutsky), Thursday, 17 July 2003 21:47 (twenty-two years ago)

The Rock and Gone in 60 Seconds were above-average popcorn fare.

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Thursday, 17 July 2003 21:54 (twenty-two years ago)

He did produce Thief, American Gigolo and Black Hawk Down, which kind of counts for something.

Anthony (Anthony F), Friday, 18 July 2003 02:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Now, along with Bruckheimer, try defending Michael Bay.

Anthony (Anthony F), Friday, 18 July 2003 02:29 (twenty-two years ago)

and for extra points, try doing it right after watching Bad Boys 2

isn't Con Air meant to actually be good?

this could not be said of any JB film I have actually seen.

DV (dirtyvicar), Friday, 18 July 2003 11:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, as your friends have been telling you for six years now, Con Air is really good.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:16 (twenty-two years ago)

i enjoyed pirates of the carribean; it was a good sunday afternoon family movie.

j fail (cenotaph), Friday, 25 July 2003 13:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Top Gun and Days of Thunder are undeniable entertainment, whatever the catches, afaic

gabbneb (gabbneb), Saturday, 26 July 2003 05:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I refuse to defend Jerry Bruckenheimer.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Monday, 28 July 2003 00:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I second mr micio's stand

i almost cried during Armageddon though, but for all the 'wrong' reasons, probably because I was sitting next to a woman who was crying for the 'right' ones

Vic (Vic), Friday, 1 August 2003 10:43 (twenty-two years ago)

he is good at what he does. for the most part it doesn't interest me but you can't deny he knows what americans want as entertainment and he delivers it.

jacob long (jacobL), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 20:24 (twenty-two years ago)

He did produce Bevernly Hills Cop way aback when. That film's good points were mostly due to Eddie Murphy and Martin Brest though. The sequel was much more along his lines.

Alex Firtzin (AlexZ), Thursday, 14 August 2003 13:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Also, CSI.
