this has the potential of being one of the best movies to come out in uk this spring
With twisted burlesque imagery, music by Wagner and Pet Shop Boys, and a stunning performance by Tom Hardy, Nicholas Winding Refn creates an uber-stylized, tour de force portrait of Charlie Bronson, Britain’s most violent prisoner in his new film BRONSON. We spoke with Refn about his notorious subject’s need for attention, Hardy’s full-throttle performance, and the distinctive influence of Kenneth Anger on his remarkable film.

Yeah, Hardy is phenomenal in this. Good film. The director clearly likes his Kubrick tho.

Bananas movie. If the intention of the film was to make me think this dude got a raw deal and should be let out it accomplished the exact opposite. Just made me wow what a sociopath instead. Incredible performance by Hardy and while there were shades of PUSHER in this, it wasn't what I expected from Refn at all.

it's a tremendous film, Tom Hardy is a sex god, and no i don't think the intention is to make you think Bronson got a raw deal. but of course he has done.
