Is this place serious?

When a tree falls alone in a forest, is it subject to gossip? If ILX were shut off, would Ask Chaki yet exist in some abstruse sense? Is this question easier to figure by asking or reading old threads?

Why is it when I say the answer to the question, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" is "the egg" its always so controversial? It seems dogmatic to me. Is their a scientific explanation for "the chicken"? Because as far as I know all chickens are hatched from eggs.

Or maybe it doesn't really matter, because "joeks bruv, zings and mockery" are now heavily frowned on sitewide, not just this board (depending on the identity/sensitivity/mood of the zingee) and that a cursory look at any one of several threads on the subject, or any of the threads on the board itself could reveal that "The Church" isn't a zing forum, and that it's also dead on it's feet.
