fyi im thinking of becoming a life coach so i thought id open things up to some qns from ppl that might not know about all the great things that a life coach does e.g.

or Q: What doesn't a life coach do?
We are profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling. We aren't making decisions for you. You, the client, are the only expert in your entire life who truly knows who you are and what you need. You are the only expert who can recognize what is absolutely best for you. We are simply experts in the coaching process.

five years pass...
Did you ever follow through on this? I'm seriously considering consulting someone of this type, and advice on what I should look for/what I can expect to get out of it would be greatly appreciated.

i have a friend that does this but from what i can tell she's mostly a personal trainer. like, she coaches rich people to go to the gym, then she coaches them into crunches, then she coaches them into writing a check.
