if memory serves, i actually think jered weaver, of all people, had a maddux this year too. angels staff might lead the league

i always used to draft ricky nolasco in fantasy and stick with him way too long because his FIP was so much better than his ERA and this was back when everyone thought that meant he absolutely had to be better than he was

him and kevin slowey just ruined me for years

i had Nolasco in HACKING MASS a year or two ago

as a baseball fan but not a hardcore fan of any particular team i honestly don't care enough about the outcomes of games these days to use that -- i use my mlb.tv to watch my favorite players -- votto's at bats, fernandez's innings, etc. sounds cool though

Yeah, sadly he is having his worst season by many measures. I am certain he'll bounce back.

also the sixth player 22 or younger to hit 30 homers since 2000 (Albert Pujols, Miguel Cabrera, Giancarlo Stanton, Mike Trout, Bryce Harper and Manny Machado are the others).

Seeing Arenado up there among the league leaders in WAR on Baseball Reference makes me again wonder if you can adjust enough for Colorado players. 2016: .318/.389/.661 at home, .276/.338/.495 on the road. Career: .309/.356/.583 at home, .260/.304/.456 on the road. Or to put it another way, Tulowitzki this year: .256/.331/.447 at home, .262/.320/.467 on the road. His road stats aren't that far off what he's done his whole career; he's the same player he's always been.
