Isn't it weird that there are two games both today and tom'w, and both Yankee Stadium games are at 5 ET? I thought they would flip them Wednesday. Do they just not want the Cubs to play at 3 or 4 Central, maybe anticipating a game-deciding fly lost in the sun?

i suspect that the cubs (particularly with the dodgers) are now a better ratings draw than the yankees (unless they're playing boston)

I meant to say that they've established the NLCS as the late game (on days when there are two games) so that the games played in LA don't start at 1 PM. But you're right, the viewership market for the series as a whole is a more important factor.

Willynilly switching of early/late, depending on the daily game sites, has seemed routine for a long time.
