yeah, joe buck mentioned that thing last night on conan. he implied he wasn't terribly enthused.

Simply to be an anti-Joe Buck, I think it's an awesome idea.

"It also will utilize enhanced graphics that will trace the arcs of pitches and hits and use changing color zones for runners' leads." - sounds cool to me

i was talking about "scooter", of course.

tbs uses the the "color zones". a bit gaudy, but maybe fox will improve upon it. i don't think it really has much usefulness.

tracing pitches does sound really cool, especially with a guy like wakefield on the mound.

"a bit gaudy, but maybe fox will improve upon it"

hahaha
..."using the voice of Spongebob Squarepants.."
talking baseball, glowing hockey pucks, mics on basepaths,..fox fixes shit so the everyman can understand. ..they dont employ McCarver, do they?

I wasn't watching Friday when Derek The Inflated made his error ... what was Tim McCarver-Jeter's reaction to his beloved's muff?

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Monday, 19 April 2004 14:47 (twenty-two years ago)

MCCarver is a fucking asshole.

Believe it or not, he was pretty insightful when he began his broadcast career with the Mets.

Huis Friday highlight was observing that the steroid issue was important because the Crawford Puppet read about it off his teleprompter in the State of the Union.
