with Salmon and Anderson out, this should spell some relief for the offense and possibly deep bench possibilities going into the playoffs. the Angels still have a little lead in the AL West despite the team gone gimpy.

he's a bad dude. but maybe all the latin-american players on the angels will keep him in check. not a bad signing, but one with a risk.

that bullshit about his family being in danger down in Puerto Rico was a ploy so he could get out of his measly Mil-5/year he was getting from the Pirates, who by the way, are playing over their collective heads even tho they remain in the cellar.

A record like that would get you the 7th playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.
