My 2001 Dodgers played the 2001 Yankees. Despite some questionable managerial moves from the LA skipper (a double steal, a squeeze play with nobody out), Kevin Brown was the better of the two dueling starters on the day, with a CG shutout, 2-0 (SO: 9). A (possibly hung-over) Jumbo Wells gave up two in the top of the first before settling down, but even Rivera couldn't keep them in the game. Jeff Reboulet and Phil Hiatt each got on base and made a couple of web gems, playing the game of their lifetimes. The Yankees had some bad breaks, Jeter committing an uncharacteristic fielding error (overthrow => extra base) and Brosius injuring himself on a strikeout.
Is that ever addictive. I am a little frightened of playing MLB Clix but I ordered a set. I also sent my chief Clix opponent a Carl Everett for good measure.
