Does anybody know of any other free game streams?
And finally, a question about MLB.TV -- do they use the regional Fox broadcast teams, produce their own broadcasts, or do they use the superstation teams in the cases of Cubs and Braves?
(This having DirecTV disconnected is starting to HURT, man. I see a dead baby on the ceiling.)

The stream of the ring ceremony today was from NESN -- the Boston-area sports station -- but I don't know if that's typical of MLB.TV or if it's simply that their usual sources (Fox affiliates or whatever) weren't covering it.
I've always had trouble with MLB.TV -- never got it to work during spring training -- but this year, since I'm working at home full time now, I paid the $15 for Gameday Audio. Well worth it: your choice of home-team station or visitors' station for every game (so far; I assume this is always true), and that $15 covers the whole season. Haven't had a technical difficulty yet. I'd rather have television, obviously, but our cable company doesn't offer MLB Extra Innings.

I bought the Gameday Audio today, a better choice all around anyway. The video was using enough bandwidth to make everything else sluggish, and with the audio I can follow the games without giving up any monitor space while I'm working. Listened to the Baltimore comeback, HAHAHA.

35 on the audio player is really cool. 1939 broadcast of a game between the Indians and the Senators.

GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
anyway, 64.5 games back ain't a good place to be
the a's will no longer broadcast on terrestrial radio; games will only be available through the app or tunein
seems a little premature to me -- is it that common and easy to get web streams in yr car?

For what it's worth, they said the same thing last year and then ultimately found a station later in the spring.

Coming back from a movie in London tonight, I set the AM band on scan in search of a Jays score; landed on a game, and what do you know, it was the Cardinals and Dodgers on KMOX. The signal was 95% clear right into St. Marys. I even remembered the call letters immediately--probably knew them from something James wrote about Harry Caray.
