This is all MLB has up at the mo (Division Series, dates but no times):

But the Daily News Mets blog has a (SUBJECT TO CHANGE) LCS/WS sked I've found on assorted FOX affiliate sites:

I'm most intrigued by this:

Wednesday, October 11, 2006
ALCS #2
8:00pm (split-national)
NLCS #1
8:00pm (split-national)

Say the Mets and Yanks open both of these at home; would they still play two games in New York simultaneously?

Well I have ticks for Friday and Saturday then, I guess. Unless the A's fuck up. DON'T FUCK UP A'S!

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Tuesday, 26 September 2006 15:52 (nineteen years ago)

We may not know any matchups til Sunday. And all of them til Tuesday!

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Friday, 29 September 2006 13:12 (nineteen years ago)

Speaking of the schedule, there are ten teams still in the running for the playoffs, and ALL ten of them are playing a team that isn't in the running this weekend (or in the Cardinals' case, two of them). Worst schedule ever?

polyphonic (polyphonic), Friday, 29 September 2006 19:03 (nineteen years ago)

apparently Milwaukee was pulling all the strategic stops out vs Cards when they were up 9-2 last night, so I am confident most 'spoilers' will put up a fight.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Friday, 29 September 2006 19:12 (nineteen years ago)

Are there 7-run strategies?

David R. (popshots75`), Friday, 29 September 2006 19:16 (nineteen years ago)

ask the Rockies, now that the humidor's off.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Friday, 29 September 2006 19:23 (nineteen years ago)

Cards-Pads get the utterly retarded Tue-Thu-Sat schedule.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Monday, 2 October 2006 12:37 (nineteen years ago)

That hurts the Cards chances because the retarded Day 1-3-5 schedule favours teams with two very good starters (who can both pitch on almost normal rest).

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Monday, 2 October 2006 12:44 (nineteen years ago)

wouldn't it help that they can come back with Carpenter in Game 4 if they're down 2-1?

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 15:21 (nineteen years ago)

So if Twins win today, tomorrow's game gets bumped to FX at 1pm Pacific, opposite Yanks-Tigers. The Dangerfield Series.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Friday, 6 October 2006 16:40 (nineteen years ago)

xpost I think I meant "the Pads chances", because they have the better rotation. But that's right -- the Cards can pitch Carp in Games 1 and 4, a #2 guy in Games 2 and 5, and improvise for Game 3. The prime example being DBacks over Cards in the 2001 NLDS.

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Friday, 6 October 2006 16:57 (nineteen years ago)

Chris Young was the Padres best pitcher this year, so let's see if they can salvage a game.

polyphonic (polyphonic), Friday, 6 October 2006 17:02 (nineteen years ago)

Tomorrow night we get the stupid head-to-head scheduling on Fox and FX.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 17:12 (nineteen years ago)

Who is on FOX? AL or NL?

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 17:19 (nineteen years ago)

It's regional.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 17:30 (nineteen years ago)

won't you be at the game anyway, morbs? i'm going now, too.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 17:36 (nineteen years ago)

Yes, I will be. Sec. 11 UppRes, Row Vertigo!

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 18:02 (nineteen years ago)
