Adelaide to stick it to Sheedy (sorry Chrisso)
Bulldogs - Richmond too inconsistent
Sydney - not a bad record in the West
Brisbane - my team and we've got Vossy back, Keating to make and appearance and Ash McGrath
Collingwood - St Kilda no Voss, no Hayes, no Black etc etc
Hawthorn to finally find form
Geelong - looking good REB
Port Adelaide - with no confidence whatsoever!

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Thursday, 13 May 2004 23:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Essendon - Adelaide beat a donut side last week and their forwards still suck.
Richmond - Who is going to play on Richo?
West Coast - bloody Swans are back to their 2002 form and are therefore unbackable.
Brisbane - Blues no chance at the Gabbatior.
St Kilda - Collingwood? You must be kidding, they are shite.
Freo - ...and the Hawks are even worse.
Geelong - The Dees are a good side but not at Skilled they aint.
Kangaroos - Archer back to inject some toughness and with no Carr in the side the Power will lack drive in the midfield.

regards,

REB

Adelaide - but i hope essendon win
Bulldogs - by 5 goals +
Swans - Egirls are soft
Brisbane - no druggie so will be closer then people think
St Kilda - easily
Hawks - just so collingwood are under the pump next week
Cats - kiddies going ok
Power - with no confidence, in fact they have very liitle chance really, too many injuries

jsa, Friday, 14 May 2004 01:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Sheedmeisters - too even, too consistent, too quick, too skilful, too many top-liners, too practically everything

Tiges - in a tough one. In-form Dog full back Harris couldn't have chosen a worse game to sit out with 'Madonna' Richardson threatening to run riot. Maybe the bro-in-law (Rawlings) will get the gig, given the lack of alternatives. But maybe the second-week-back syndrome will return Richo to his customary mediocrity

Swans - the loser can kiss 2004 goodbye

Brisbane - a character-building experience awaits Carlton, who have generally avoided the Gabba fixture lately

St Kilda - last v first, and Carlton took care of the WA hoodoo back in round 2

Freo - the Yawk Pawk Awks are now officially in rebuilding phase. Congratulations on a fine career Nick H, please leave your car park pass behind

Melbourne - the upset is well and truly on but I'm not quite game

Power - introducing another tired body to a tired team won't help the Roos much

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Friday, 14 May 2004 05:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Tigers - with an in-form Richo they seem to lift
Swans and Eagles to have the first draw of the year.
Brisbane - they will win as easy as they want to.
St Kilda - Pies to have the Crisis Cup all to themselves this week
Hawks - Freo are pretenders and Connolly is an idiot
Demons - Cats to get a rude awakening
Power - to shake their September form.

chrisso (chrisso), Friday, 14 May 2004 05:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Essendon in the end. Close game though.
W Bulldogs to hold Richo to zip and win the game easily
West Coast at home. Sydney lost to the Tigers and lost respect
Bris Lions way way too good.
St Kilda. Would not be suprised if it goes the other way.
Hawthorn (just can't tip against them)
Geelong. Melbourne haven't won there for eons (88).
Kangaroos to cause a bit of an upset.

Hawka (hawka), Friday, 14 May 2004 08:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Essendon - still not convinced about the Crows
Richmond - for no reason at all
West Coast - to beat what most be the most frustrating team in the AFL at the moment
Brisbane - becasue I'll be there
St Kilda - too good for the bottom team
Hawthorn - to beat a Freo team trying to return to past inglories
Melbourne - on form from the Seagulls
Port - not ready just yet to write of Northern 'Roos but might after this weekend

Enjoy the week-end and the footy folks

Big Bird (Big Bird), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:32 (twenty-two years ago)

BB - had the same, a nice 7 out of 8, closest to the margin, and a lobster finds its way into my wallet courtesy of the work tipping comp.

LOVELY!

Bennö (Bennö), Sunday, 16 May 2004 23:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Well done Benno, but I only got 6 actually. But your right, its hard to be humble when your eating lobster.

Big Bird (Big Bird), Monday, 17 May 2004 01:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Maybe my eyes are painted on.

I have come back from 11 down to 8 down, plenty of weeks to go... (and ahve decided to tip against Collingwood for the rest of the year)

Bennö (Bennö), Monday, 17 May 2004 02:30 (twenty-two years ago)

A rare bird indeed this season, the happy Magpie. Well done Benno. Can I hook up with your footy tipping comp because I got seven and won bugger all (Darn Docks!!). I was five down and now it's down to 2 but only 40 for the year.

LOL@those tipsters who selected the Hawks and the Demons to beat the Cats in the last two weeks. Now I've got to make sure I don't blow it by getting ahead of myself and tipping against the Bombers at the Domeass next round.

regards,

REB

Rik E Boy (Rik E Boy), Monday, 17 May 2004 10:24 (twenty-two years ago)

No Hird no bombers though REB.

*cough*

I've put my tips in, and have taken the Bombers, but thank the Cats for my sudden rise up the tipping comp - I'm on 40 as well, the leader is on a miraculous 48!
