How sweet it is to finally add that Lion head to our trophy cabinet. Great work Benny Graham. Not bad for a bloke with a heart of pea hey Jase? Well done also to Dasher Milburn, Gary Ablett, Chapman, Wojinski, Scarlo, Mackie, Kelly and that shaggy cat Cam Mooney.

Here's some names for you Steven King, Corey Enright, Peter Riccardi, David Spriggs and Kane Tenance all out of the side. A great move by the selection committee to enlist the services of David Haynes instead of Chauncy Gardiner considering the conditions and also well done on a great return by goalsneak Steve Johnson.

Meanwhile, how good is Jonathon Brown? That guy is supernatural and if he wasn't on board at Cat Park we may have sunk them earlier than in the latter stages of the final quarter. Tom Harley is a tough opponent but Brown ran rings around him. Good old Scarlo teamed up with Harley to help shut out Brown.

Brisbane were hamstrung by injuries but if inconsistency is the fly in the ointment for young sides then injuries must be that for the more experienced combinations. The break is well timed so any large heads at Catland should have shrunk a little before we head out West to take on the E-girls.

IT'S ALL GOOD. Go the Catters!!

regards,

REB

A great win to your boys REB, they played well and deserved the win. Lions looking really tired and flat footed - but no excuse. You guys deserved the win. So as Aker would say "Build a bridge...." bring on the break and looking forward to flogging Richmond at the Gabba

Well done to the Catters for breaking through for their first win against the Brisbane Lions. They are looking pretty good at the moment with only one loss in the last eight and with only two games outside Vic for the rest of the season they should make the finals easily.

Jeez REB, what a brave tipster you are

Sheesh. I didn't think we'd win so I didn't tip em. Big concept for a Port fan to understand admittedly....

Too good REB, Geelong's ball control was so much better than Brisbane's. Added to the hard stuff they did all day, deserved winners.

Now, don't make a habit of it - once every ten years OK, no more

With you on this BB, Geelong having a win every now and then is good and helps keep Collingwood out of the eight!!!
