Three marking players across the half-forward line. Better hope when Oz plays NZ or whoever it's not a windy day.

Nick Stevens must almost make the emergencies list. (If that doesn't drag jsa out of wherever he's hiding nothing can.) For me Bruce would struggle to get in ahead of GA jr or even his mate Brad Green. Matty Lappin has had a great year but hasn't played that far forward for a season (doubt if he's kicked 20 goals). If he's in for versatility stick him on the bench and put Hird in his spot (amazed you need my encouragement to do that!)

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 08:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Chrisso, can't believe you leave Luke Power and Jonathan Brown out. I'd have Luke in any day and you wouldn't see that "pretender Matera who isn't a patch on his brother" even running drinks for the team.

The centre line looks like every coach and teams dream.

Not sure about your forward line either Chrisso. Would have to agree with your mate Tim Watson on this score....

How the hell can you pick Brown? His discipline this year makes it impossible to pick him. Hall, Reiwoldt and Tredrea have all been far more valuable to their teams this year.

Couldn't leave any of them out, if it's windy maybe they could be rotated off the bench.

Tom Harley shits on Leo Barry from a great height. James Hird LOL. Has he played this year?

chrisso (chrisso), Wednesday, 25 August 2004 22:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Managed to wipe your boys out in 2001 and Mr Ed's Team in 2002 and 2003. Looking good for 22004 as well! :)

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Wednesday, 25 August 2004 23:48 (twenty-one years ago)

"Looking good for 22004"

the boys might be just a tad long in the tooth to bring home THAT particular flag ha ha.

Rik E Boy (Rik E Boy), Thursday, 26 August 2004 02:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah I saw that REB but thought it would give you something to talk about. I see good ole Cam got a huge fine - probably a touch over the top considering Mark Williams (? the Hawthorn kid) has his shotgun primed every week!

But I stand corrected I don't think we will have the same team playing for the flag in 22004 - but there may be a couple of their kids playing!! :)

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Thursday, 26 August 2004 02:56 (twenty-one years ago)

You only watch one game a week, don't you Lucy? And only one eye watches that one game...

Bennö (Bennö), Thursday, 26 August 2004 06:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Ahh Benno - luv ya humour!

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Thursday, 26 August 2004 21:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Mmmm, Nerk and REB very quick to criticise, yet won't have a go. C'mom lads, lets see your team so we can tear strips off it.LOL.

chrisso (chrisso), Friday, 27 August 2004 01:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Maybe when this All Australian side takes the field in a meaningful international I'll discuss it. It's all just media crap. To quote a former Cat coach I 'couldn't give a rat's toss bag' who makes the side.

REB
