Hardwick = class

Was interested to hear Damien Hardwick say that he didn't want to throw any punches in the Grand Final because he wanted to go out the right way. The same cannot be said for that arseclown A Lynch, what a sad, sorry, pitiful way to go out, throwing haymakers and hobling off like the croc he is. Loved it.

Been doing it for the last 2 years, breaking bones and getting away with it all, left the game with little class in my eyes, a sad old man who never one hit a bloke standing eye to eye, always the coathanger punch or the punch when not expected. Must have been the drugs

Got to agree with you, jsa. Sad way for Lynch to exit.

Just want to make one small point though. Lynch has been an extremely good player over a number of years and has shown that he can play with the best. For him to overcome the setbacks that he has had to endure must give him a lot of satisfaction. And to know that the only way he did it was with the assistance of drugs and have a distinct advantage over his opponents because he had actually taken those drugs, must have filled him with a sense of complete wonderment. I mean, to actually take those drugs and retire when he has, must piss him off big time. He should be able to play until at least 53 years old.

For an armchair champion like yourself, it must be very satisfying to continually outmark and outkick Lynch in every game.

By the way jsa, how many Port players made it through the entire season WITHOUT a painkiller or medical assistance? No difference pal.

Unless you've got a REALLY unhealthy amount of spare time, it's best to leave the Lynch drugs thing alone. It's troll bait in the same league of WOFT futility as 'Murali chucks'.

Gee Westy, aren't you the same bloke who came on here and bagged Essendon after the West Coast beat them? How many goals did you kick that night?

Hypocrite.

Same bloke who criticised Port for having too many aboriginal players as well, never stand up in big games.

Not at all chrisso. I came on and was overjoyed that the Eagles beat Essendon and said so. Any time you can beat Essendon and wave the scarf is a top feeling. Other than that I never bagged them at all. I am in the habit of criticising but not bagging.

Same bloke who criticised Port for having too many aboriginal players as well, never stand up in big games.

I could take extreme offense here jase, but seeing as though you are probably still hungover I will let it pass.

I have never, and will never, criticise aboriginal players. In fact the greatest player I have ever seen is aboriginal(Polly) and if you can show me where that supposed criticism comes from then I will stand corrected. Until then, I think you have the wrong bloke.

Yes, you are correct, I just checked your post. For some reason I thought you ripped into us. I apologise.

Thanks, chrisso. For an Essendon supporter, you might not be a bad bloke.

Now if you were to sing this as follows:- We're the Eagles, West Coast Eagles.................. I might even upgrade you to "good bloke"

Cheers

Westy

Westener (Westener), Tuesday, 28 September 2004 12:15 (twenty-one years ago)

I could sing that song, but I'd have to dissinfect my mouth after singing it.

Twice.:-)

Westy,

must have the wrong bloke, was another pillock for WA then, maybe REB can remember his name, the bloke that whinged about simon katich on the ABC cricket forum,

jsa, Tuesday, 28 September 2004 21:39 (twenty-one years ago)

waboy.

chrisso (chrisso), Tuesday, 28 September 2004 21:55 (twenty-one years ago)

The styles are radically different. Westy may have some odd ideas, but at least he posts like English is his first language. Waboy barely knew what a sentence was.

"Waboy barely knew what a sentence was."

A sentence is something given to a Collingwood supporter after found guilty!!! lol

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 02:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Wasn't Sandgropper also known as waboy before an identity change?

But if we are talking alteregos, jas has had more names than the Al Lynch threw punches last weekend....

Bennö (Bennö), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 08:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes that's the boy. He came back on C4 as sandgroper with one p (must have had his spellcheck on that day) and displayed the same incandescent wit and deep insight he has always been famous for. I generally refer to him as Einstein.

It is still possible to rile VoR by including waboy in his list of personas.

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 08:57 (twenty-one years ago)

You've all got him pegged. I also know who you mean.

Lives next door to me. Gets on great with the wife. She also calls herself a Sandgroper but really they both came to WA from Victoria years ago.

Only difference is, she knows stuff all about the footy. That's why I let her write my posts

Westener (Westener), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 11:07 (twenty-one years ago)

No choice benno, kept getting banned, but i believe you may have had a few alias under the abs forum.

Were u the bug??

jsa, Wednesday, 29 September 2004 21:51 (twenty-one years ago)

No, I'm not the Bug. I've met the Bug and smashed a few beers with the Bug - he's a decent bloke too.

I met up with Greg6, Horrie and the bug in sydney one weekend a few years ago, a great weekends drinking it was too.

My alter egos were Growling Ferret and Max Hardcore. I was also Coach Cals Super Shiny Shoes until the Cannons got the @rse from the NBL...
