Chris Lewis got pinged for 5 weeks for biting that low life and the question was asked as to why Viney had his fingers clawing Lewis' face in order for Lewis to bite him. Valid question, I thought.

But the really funny conclusion to this snippet of history is that Viney was picked in Melbourne's Team of the Century and was obviously picked as a result of running up to the umpire with his finger held up and completely distraught. Terrific drama.

Last week we saw a nice juicy 72-font-headline 'get-tough' gesture towards a player that won't play anyway, and is therefore pretty bloody meaningless.
