Crap!

I see Collingwood get their blockbusters and only four interstate trips again.

"Travels interstate four times - just once in the first 12 rounds - and plays only St Kilda and Essendon twice of the 2004 finalists. Should be pleased."

Will we hear Mr Ed complaining again this week about Brisbane getting 12 home games.

I'm rabid today!

Chill chimp chick. You'll just have to be consoled by the three flags in the last four years...or three more than I have got to celebrate in 38. I wish I had your problems LOL.

Besides, I reckon the draw is great, the Cats only have to play four times interstate next season :)

13 of the 15 other clubs requested to play Home matches against Collingwood for the additional gate takings they recieve.

I would suggest most of these would have been Melbourne clubs, needing every dollar they can get via punters through the gate...

11 of the 15 clubs requested to play two matches against Collingwood because it's 8 points in the bank ha ha.

Benno

You've just opened a can of worms. Bastards are crawling everywhere.

Does this mean that you recognise that the Victorian clubs are near on insolvent and want to play Collingwood as many times as possible to maximise gate takings?

Perhaps we should........... Aaaaaw stuff it. The real games next year are between Port/Eagles, Port/Brissie, Eagles/Brissie and Geelong.

REB and Fred would remember the 1970's group Flash and the Pan----describes St Kilda to a "T". Melbourne ----odd year. Essendon ----too busy playing Blockbusters. Who else?

The Vic teams will welcome a game against Adelaide just so they can brag they've beaten an interstate team!!!!!!!

That load of bluster nearly had me half convinced Westy. Then I remembered who has the worst recent finals record in the AFL (2 wins in 11 tries since 94).

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Friday, 1 October 2004 12:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Here in the West, Fred, we regard recent finals appearances on a par with Wizard Cup games.

They have been for practice only!! And are regarded as such.

The real tilt at finals was always scheduled for 2005. Ask me, ask anyone!! Really.

St Kilda will have a big year again Westy. Flash in the pan..look closer to home..it is Freo who appear to be 'down among the dead men'.

Freo do seem to have returned to being Flash & the Pan's best-known former incarnation....

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Tuesday, 5 October 2004 02:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Geelong, St Kilda and Port are the teams to beat next year. The Eagles will be in the mix, though.

Freo? Don't make me laugh. Seriously, they just haven't got the heart.

chrisso (chrisso), Tuesday, 5 October 2004 10:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Ya never know, chrisso.

Carr could just be the vehicle that Freo have needed to get a Holden the Finals.

If the could af-Ford to hang onto Simmonds who knows where they will end up.
