Predictions

Last seaon we had all manner of early predictions but I have not saeen anything thus far this year.

We must have some predictions so I can bring them up at round 11 or 12 to remind us how uninformed we really are.

Hence.............

Westy's Wise Words!!!!

1. Brisbane...To make amends for 2004. A lot of pride attached to being the best and something that I don't think that they are about to surrender.

2. Melbourne...Don't like them as a club or team but I think they have the chemistry this year.

3. Port Adelaide...Behind the 8-Ball but too many good players to discount tnem out. Will be in big trouble if injury hits them too hard.

4. Fremantle...This hurts big time. Gough Whitlam should be their Patron. "It's Time"

5. West Coast...A midfield to die for will keep them in the Comp.

6.Geelong...Proved last season that they can mix it and will continue this season.

7. St Kilda...Revolt is a huge loss but lack of fitness by Gehrig should be of a bigger concern. Will have huge problems with the Tribunal all season as they try to prove how tough they are.

8. Sydney...Will be carried on the backs of Hall and Goodes.

This is where it gets really hard...

9. Adelaide...May suprise and do a Syd-eny. Could win a good few games on emotion and being underrated.

10. Carlton...Need to put the Whizzer to rest and concentrate on the season proper. Whitnall and Fevola to serve them well.

11. Footscray...Will suprise. A lot of youthful enthusiasm.

12. N Melbourne...Will be dangerous all year. Do not underrate.

13 - 16. Collingwood,Essendon,Hawthorn, Richmond...I've put them in alphabetical order as I think that will probably be the best method of ranking them. Woeful.

Premiers...Brisbane.

Brownlow...Pavlich

Coleman...Hall

Whizzer...Carlton(got that one right!!)

Rising Star...Michael Gardiner!!
