I think he's earned the right, at least a bit, for now. I mean, at least Freo HAVE won something recently, unlike, say, the Pies - there's Eddie carrying on like a pork chop as usual, all while his team sits smack-dab on the bottom of the ladder. If someone should shut his gob for a change just to see what good might come of it, it's Eddie.

Since the Unsteady Eddies (for instance) last saluted, they've won three AFL matches.

But now that I know what Connolly was crapping on about, I can put it in the 'who cares it was only another cheap shot' file.

I remember young Christopher's playing career. If you lined up the whole Melbourne squad from those days in order of 'clean-ness', Chris would have been within hand-shaking distance of Rodney Grinter but neded a loud-hailer to communicate with Robbie Flower.
