Did anyone else see the AFL Players Indigenous Camp on Fox Footy the other night. Quite enjoyed it. Showed players like Wirrapunda in an exceptional light. Adam Goodes and young Xavier Clarke and another St Kilda youngun' whose name I've forgotten (sorry youngun')all doing some fantastic work.

Good programme if you haven't watched it yet do so on 30 minutes but not bad.

I thought they could have done a bit more with that program, like really talking to the players about what the Aboriginal culture means to them and what it is like being an Aboriginal in the AFL - their struggles, benefits, homesickness etc, etc.

Thought they could have gone behind the scenes of the All-Star match as well(they barely showed anything). I really felt they missed a golden oppurtunity and on the whole was pretty dissapointed in the program.

Very true Chrisso, maybe they are planning a sequel. Must admit I would have like to see more players interviewed i.e. Ash McGrath, Darryl White and Chris Johnson (for obvious reasons!) But I did enjoy learning a little of Wirrpunda, Goodes and Clarke.

Eight percent of all AFL footballers are Aboriginal. How good is that! They really are suited to our game with their wonderful vision and speed.

Chrisso I was pretty impressed with that stat. The equated it to the % of population and is was quite impressive I thought.
