Perche i libri sono portabili.

Perche abbiamo tanto da legere e non possiamo sempre rispondere alle domande infantile. Dai, per chi ci prendi?

I hope not to be considered an invader myself. Allow me just a consideration: perhaps the sentence "perché questo sito è così piccolo?" didn't want to be a sort of inquisitve intrusion or just an "insult" to your site. Maybe who wrote it can't speak English and was just considering this site so "small" because he/she considered your graphics and the rest a bit "poor". I don't, obviously.
But... you could have replied that you are just not interested in graphics and images (or things like that) but in talking of books and sharing cultural experiences that don't need grapfically developed sites.
Our problem, in Italy, is that not many people speak English (is it a sin?), and who does is often not so confident of the language to reply in your language. Sorry for that, but, please, don't feel insulted or consider absolutely childish a msg like that one.

sorry for exceeding the 25 word: it won't happen again!

Considering that many visitors to this site come with the impression that it's just somewhere where we say things in 25 words, I'm surprised it doesn't strike those people as HUGE when they get here :)

There is a lot more to ILB (not even mentioning the 'parent' boards) than 25-word games. It is primarily an English-language board as you can see, but I hope that new people from all nations keep taking the time to wander around and will perhaps make it home...

Well maybe I don't get to say that, as I've not been here that long myself. But I have been 'next door' for a while.

I think the 25 words thing has backfired somewhat. Add to that, people arriving who don't speak English as a first language and it is doubly difficult to work out exactly what these boards represent.

No offence meant in this post. I have to say this now as I have already upset one Italian poster today.

Ma, stavo scherzando. Dai! Plus I get touchy when people call it little.
