In 2000, I saw Dale Peck read at the KGB Bar and had been a big fan of the few book reviews he had published at that point. I told him that I would love to see a book of them. He said that if he published a book of essays it would probably be about gay identity. I told him I'd love to read a book of his book reviews. Ha ha ha.
Anyway, I'm halfway through his nutty (in a fun way) review of Brett Easton Ellis's Imperial Bedrooms and stopped to start this thread. I really like him as a writer, line by line.
