logout problem following links from one thread to another

Hi mods!

When I follow a link in a thread that leads to another thread, I often find I'm logged out. If I follow Bee OK's lnik to the 2004 poll in this 2003 poll thread Acclaimed Music Top 30 Albums from 2003 poll I have to log in again...

you're probably logged in to ilxor.com but not www.ilxor.com or vice versa, they're both valid but your browser stores the login cookies for them separately, or at least that's my understanding since i've had the same thing happen to me

You can sign into ILX at (at least) two addresses: we treat ilxor.com and www.ilxor.com as separate for historical reasons.

One consequence of that is if you're signed into one, and click a link posted by someone on the other site, you'll find you're logged out. To fix it, just edit the address and add/remove www. from it.
