search function weirdness?

i've done a couple of searches today and while i'm logged in, when the results come up it shows me as not being logged in.

why do i get that fucking "hey u can't search for words that have four letters or less; theres just 2 many lol ;)" error message when the word i'm searching for has MORE THAN 4 or 3,385,482 letters in it????i await your prompt and timely answer to this gay queery
