why is this linked to email instead of log-in name?

if we change our email address then it begins tallying our posts from zero again.

I don't know how many times I can say it, that page doesn't actually work.

One of the better reasons for it to be linked to email, and I can't even remember if thats what the case is, is because not everyone has a log-in name.

i thought it was by login, then by email when no login. who knew. like it matters at the mo.
