On a dialup, I don't want to have to load such an image heavy thread if I can help it. Why do they need deleting?

I never bother deleting duplicates - even if they are images, the cost is tiny.

more a lazy one, I think. Also, I think that minimal moderation generally goes down best, and therefore try to only take action when it is very clearly within the agreed remit.
