BATMANS AND SUPPERMAN ARE BESTEST CUZ THERE OLD.

I've realized lately (and I'm maybe I'm behind the curve, as usual) that a lot of the problem not only with fandom but with the "Wizard says we're GRATE!" crew of Big Two writers (particularly at DC) is this stupid sense of reverence for these characters.

"They are magical deities on a pedestal and don't have to do anything to justify their lofty position in our esteem, but we can't soil them by inflicting any of the kind of changes that EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD undergoes on them or own up to the fact that many of them are kind of lame and redundant and anachronistic."
