The Marvels Project - Ed Brubaker & Steve Epting (mini-series)

Anyone going to check this one out? I read the preview that was in this month's Iron Man and thought it looks like it could be really good. The thing with the old man in the home was really cool. After reading that preview the thing that struck me was that this idea seems VERY DC. (I think DC is missing the boat not telling the more tales of the JSA golden age characters in their prime with a modern slant. I'd kill to see Jay Garrick/The Flash, Alan Scott/Green Lantern and Ted Grant/Wildcat stories in their prime).

To be honest, this is more what I think DC and Marvel needs to get back to making in the summer. Some good mini-series about big things that is being made by high quality creators. If they get this right and I have a feeling they might, it will be an evergreen book.

Sub-Mariner has been pretty cool in the Cap. America title, so I figure he will end up the star of this title. I'm sure Brubaker will cook up some good lines for the character.
