# Are you a believer in mira-POLLs? Do you notice and recognize mira-POLLs? [Started by Doctor Casino in April 2010, last updated 2 hours ago by repugnant appearance, Irish background, not an animal (Jon Lewis) on I Love Music] 31 new answers POLL closes: May 01 (in 2 weeks)

demonstrates that stupid poll puns can beat the funny out of almost anything

nakhchivan, Monday, 12 April 2010 18:47 (fourteen years ago) link

Yeah, I kinda knew that one sucked even as I typed it but there was just no way to match the simple elegance of the non-poll thread on the song.

kinda disappointed i only have like four threads in this thread

Let's talk about the non- pop culture pop culture enjoyed by Real Amurricans in the '70s.

Aside from the "Amurricans" part, referring to what is in fact mainstream popular culture as "non pop culture pop culture" just because it doesn't have the ironic kitsch value to be resuscitated seems awkward and also a little condescending.

I was confused by that as well.

Mozart has time-traveled to your living room. He asks you about today's music.

This just makes me think of the kelpolaris thread where he's trying to convince some teacher that "contemporary" music is good.
