I called re: date at 4:45 pm. Txted around 6. Reply at 6:15 that she was called into work. replied at 6:30 that i was going to hang with friends for a bit. called around 10ish, didn't answer; txted her and was all "lol hope u don't think i blew u off" and she replied "no no its ok"

seems like that could be read as "i dont like you" or "playin it cool".... i guess i should gtb... although i want to say something to the effect that i want to play it straight and u r v v pretty

Top Chef is awesome.

Hell's Kitchen would be more entertaining if he was screaming at competent chefs instead of a nanny, a line cook, a pastry chef, a couple of third-rung sous chefs and a Waffle House short order cook. Can you imagine anyone on Top Chef not being able to plate an order of pea risotto after cooking it seven nights in a row?

maybe she really did have to work? play it cool. also padma lakshmi is single now i believe and she likes nerdy guyz

so, I went out tonight with some friends for dinner and then met up with a bartender friend who just adopted a rescued great dane (so huge and adorable and shy!) and followed her and some other friends to another couple bars.

such a great, beautiful night to sit on bar patios and enjoy life.

i don't think people in their early 20s understand "playing it straight" :(
