Marilyn Manson & Sneaker Pimps - Long Hard Road Out Of Hell
this one, too

I used to have that soundtrack too, but I later sold it to friend. Now I kinda regret it, because IIRC the Orbital/Hammett and Apollo 440/Morphine and Rollins/Goldie tunes were quite nice. The Prodigy/Morello tune was okay too, though I think there was better version of without Morello called "No Man Army". Or did I dream that one up?

No, that existed and it was better.

one thing that does not hold up on this soundtrack is "For Whom The Bell Tolls (The Irony Of It All)" by Metallica & DJ Spooky

I came to this soundtrack thinking it would be as awesome as the Judgment Night soundtrack. I was sorely disappointed.
the Metallica track especially

``Spawn'' is best seen as an experimental art film. It walks and talks like a big budget horror film, heavy on special effects and pitched at the teenage audience, and maybe that's how it will be received. But it's more impressive if you ignore the genre and just look at what's on the screen. What we have here are creators in several different areas doing their best to push the envelope. The subject is simply an excuse for their art--just as it always is with serious artists.

I saw this movie because the speed freaks that had been squatting in what became my studio had left a vhs tape of this behind when the fire department kicked them out. It was pretty horrible.
