You need to learn how to fix auctions.

adamrl (nordicskilla), Thursday, 12 January 2006 21:53 (twenty years ago)

did you put "PRE AMBITIOUS LOVERS!!!!!" in the title? That would've really done the job.

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Thursday, 12 January 2006 22:12 (twenty years ago)

Vincent Gallo is selling his DNA for a lot more.

Whiney G. Weingarten (whineyg), Friday, 13 January 2006 01:55 (twenty years ago)

Hey, ambitious lovers put out one good record

jaxon (jaxon), Friday, 13 January 2006 02:03 (twenty years ago)

I still can't believe that I blew forty bucks on this EP on eBay back in the day. That was one bidding war that got way out of hand. I'm pretty sure that my college radio station paid less than eight bucks at Sound Exchange for their copy in '97 (if memory serves, the price tag on that thing was $6.95).

BTW, some Japanese dude has his minimum set for $49.99 on the Taste of DNA EP he's auctioning on eBay right now (only $13 shipping from Japan to the US or UK!).

Chris F. (servoret), Friday, 13 January 2006 09:36 (twenty years ago)

Stormy Davis (diamond), Friday, 13 January 2006 16:47 (twenty years ago)

Special Agent Gene Krupa (orion), Friday, 13 January 2006 16:51 (twenty years ago)

adamrl (nordicskilla), Friday, 13 January 2006 16:54 (twenty years ago)

Blonde Redhead is a hell of a song.

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Friday, 13 January 2006 17:33 (twenty years ago)

DNA were a hell of a band! so much great shit on that complete CD.

Stormy Davis (diamond), Friday, 13 January 2006 17:36 (twenty years ago)

Special Agent Gene Krupa (orion), Friday, 13 January 2006 17:39 (twenty years ago)

Mars was a hall of a band.

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Friday, 13 January 2006 18:00 (twenty years ago)

heck of a band.

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Friday, 13 January 2006 18:56 (twenty years ago)

RED TRANSISTRRRRR

A BOLD QUAHOG (ex machina), Friday, 13 January 2006 21:21 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, I'm happy that I found out about that Mars CD through ILM. I've got the DNA CD too, but I haven't played it that much yet for whatever reason (maybe because I didn't hear anything else on it that's as fun as A Taste of DNA-- to Dr. Morbius's credit, the live stuff does get annoying after a while).

Chris F. (servoret), Friday, 13 January 2006 23:48 (twenty years ago)

i don't love DNA either, but that's because i'm a pussy

jaxon (jaxon), Saturday, 14 January 2006 00:34 (twenty years ago)

the art ensemble of chicago house (vahid), Tuesday, 12 September 2006 05:26 (nineteen years ago)

then again, maybe i should keep it!

as anonymous reviewer says, "It has the tension and alienation of the 5th symphony of Mahler, the spheres of Eno's ambient 4 and Apollo, and the fragility and desolation of Dead Can Dance's Yulunga."

the art ensemble of chicago house (vahid), Tuesday, 12 September 2006 05:28 (nineteen years ago)

but think how much more tension and alienation and spheres and shit you can buy with $150!

genital hyphys (haitch), Tuesday, 12 September 2006 06:23 (nineteen years ago)

I saw DNA in '81; we all kinda laughed.
